Calling all foodies! We have an idyllic countryside adventure that you must embark on this winter.

Did you know that winter is the best time of year to really appreciate Lancashire’s starry skies? The longer nights allow for more opportunities to view constellations, and the colder air allows for better visibility.

If you struggle to find motivation to get outside in the cold, give yourself an additional push this winter by exploring new places with your pooch. Going somewhere new and exciting will help get you out and about even if the weather isn’t the best; just wrap up warm and go!

New Year is a time for a fresh start for many, and what better way to celebrate than with a break in Lancashire’s beautiful countryside?

How many times did you hear the phase “It’s like Blackpool Illuminations in here!” when you were younger and had left the lights on all round the house? Well, winter is the best time to really see those illuminations shine.

This week we celebrated National Farm Animals Day by collating videos of some of Lancashire’s cutest farmyard residents, from piglets to lambs, buffalo to goats.
